Not at all Dan, that would have been my pick too. But a lot of shoulders in class need way more stability and flexibility before trying the snatches.
I’ll put that in the menu for a future WOD!
Forget the team, I say you just send James! I’ll root for him via web-cam from my couch… If it helps, I’ll wear a weight vest while doing so.
lack of shoulder mobility killed me on this one. burpees were fine. I keep telling myself I am a work in progress and someday I will be able to properly lift overhead. everyone better beat my rounds tonight.

My forearms are very sore today; no doubt from the kettle bells banging on them!
Yeah, I have those too, Tom. Those are affectionately called kettle-bell kisses. That was a good WOD. I just can’t believe I beat Super Mario at a WOD. OF course, Nick banged out 7 muscle-ups, surpassing my 6. Effing, Nick!
I don’t know Tom I’m thinking 10 for thursday? In a matter of two months we’ve went from one to now 6&7 with full lock-outs. That’s pretty good improvements if you ask me.
10? It’s on! And yeah, good point. The curve is definitely steep on these and something to be proud of. Admittedly, if I didn’t have you to compete with I don’t think I’d be this far along. Now we just need Dan to get his muscle-up mojo back.
My muscleups were short lived and have become a thing of the past…its tragic. I’m feeling optimistic about tomorrow though
