First time doing heavy thrusters. I got up to 63lbs and failed twice. Then I focused on technique and up it went. I was so exited. Now I know I can go heavier.

Don’t wod hungover with a headache…very important
I sucked wind & felt like hell this morning, no coffee didn’t help either. I ended up putting up 135 and weakly attempted 145 only to fail…next time

@Dan – tried to get an early start on the weekend, eh?
I did 95 / 105 / 115 / 115 and then reps: 95×2 / 95×3 / 95×5.
And then I did: Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich x 1, side salad x 1 for time.
I just thought Dan was tired, I didnt realize he was hungover…now i don’t feel that bad
this was the first time I’ve done 1RM thrusters, it was more fun than I thought it was going to be, but it always is…
